Reasons of using flippers for all level of swimmers.....

Swim fins help to strengthen the large muscle groups in the legs that propel the body forward through the water.
They essentially function as extensions of the foot & ankle, giving every kick more power.
Kids must adjust to the unfamiliar sensation of swimming with fins, once they do, they can be like little torpedos in the water 💦.

Rewards........ As A Swim Instructor

Every swimming Lesson I experience victories, small & big, as my students progress. I've seen students once terrified of water are able to finish a 1km sea swim. But my favourite success is when my students can play in the pool on their own. When the parents or adults can watch & not have to hold them the whole time.

Liberty Wave Open water Swim 2017 Singapore



 It was an exciting Sunday morning, swimming a 4km open water event (Liberty Wave) sanctioned by the Singapore Swimming Association. Had a great swim along side with my Cheong buddy Neo, many friends from Team Seamonsta Triathlon & also swimmers from the Canadian International School 🏫....... Awesome

Why Is Correct Head Rotation So Important For Kids When Comes To Breathing On The Side

When rotating to breathe, your head should turn with the rest of your shoulders, rather than over-rotating. Head and body rotation should take place along the long axis, or imaginary line running through the swimmer's body from head to toe. You need only rotate your head enough to get your mouth out of the water enough to take in air.......
